A mother who was mauled to death by Pitbulls in Vivo, Limpopo fought desperately to defend herself before being overpowered and attacked by the dogs. Her brother, Frans Sekole says that his sister screamed and called for help when the dogs charged at her. When they pushed her to the ground, she rolled and laid on her stomach in an attempt to protect her belly. "The attack was so severe that she gave in and they injured her all over her body," Frans says. ?
HORRIFYING INJURIES
Mellita Sekole's injuries were so horrible that her brother wished he had not seen them. "I went straight to the hospital after her neighbours called to tell had been taken by an ambulance after the attack. Frans says that when he got to the hospital, his sister was still alive and explained to him how she tried to protect her stomach to avoid her intestines being ripped out. "She told me she thought she would have a better chance of survival if they just bit her from the back. However, those dogs were literally eating her alive and the chances of her surviving were very slim. I wish I can unsee those injuries, they will haunt me forever," Frans adds.

DOG OWNER VISIT
The dog owner allegedly went to the hospital to see Mellita but Frans says his sister refused to see him and Mellita succumbed to her injuries a day later. "I'm still lost for words as she leaves three children behind. They are not coping and we don't even know how to console them," he adds. "I will miss her. She was a quiet and gentle person. She was not much of a talker but she respected everyone and loved her children dearly."?
