The late Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes did not only make waves with his hits, his taste in women was as great as his music. It's no secret that AKA was lovable, his charm and charisma was undeniable. We take you down memory lane on the women the slain hunk has dated.

DJ ZINHLE : Zinhle was the first woman the Fela in Versace hitmaker introduced to the world and they have a beautiful baby Kairo Owethu. The two met in Botswana in 2012 where they were both booked to perform at the same gig. AKA and Zinhle kept their relationship a secret until 2014. They went their separate ways in 2015 after the birth of their daughter following allegations of cheating by AKA who was reportedly seeing TV personality Bonang Matheba at the time. AKA went public about his relationship with Bonang months after breaking up with Zinhle. The relationship ended in 2017 with allegations of infidelity from Bonang. Zinhle and AKA got back together in 2018 but their relationship was short lived and they went their separate ways in 2019 but remained good friends as they raised their daughter together.

BONANG MATHEBA: Who can forget how controversial AKA and Queen B's relationship started. Though the couple took Mzansi by storm, serving us a couple goals and everyone wanting to be Bonang and AKA, they allegedly started their relationship when the rapper was still his with baby mama who was pregnant at the time. During their relationship, AKA showered Bonang with expensive gifts and constantly posted their cosy pictures on social media. Their relationship ended in 2018 with allegations of cheating by Bonang. AKA went on to attack Bonang even accusing her of witchcraft. His posts on social media suggested that he found witchcraft stuff in Bonang's bag. "You think you know someone until you unpack all their Sh**& find rocks tied up in the plastic bag in your bedroom cupboard,' In another tweet, AKA wrote '' I have abandoned my entire family only to get cheated on. That's Karma??

NICOLE NYABA: The socialite and model who took Jozi by storm before she quickly vanished, gave Bonang a run for her money when it came to her relationship with the rapper. Nicole managed to squeeze herself in but things for the two ended even before it could become serious. Even though the rapper included her name and surname in one of his lyrics, Nicole was later quoted saying AKA was a waste of her life. The ex-couple dated in 2018, soon after AKA broke up with Bonang. Speaking on Gigi Lamayne's Point of View podcast,  Nicole said AKA was a romantic guy "but he's a devil and he's sneaky'. And knowing what I know now I should've never trusted him, I should've never trusted him as a friend, as a lover, as anything,' Nicole said. Responding to Nicole at the time AKA said: "She's a sweet girl and I wish her all the best,'

ANELE 'Nellie' TEMBE: We all witnessed this relationship from when the pair started dating to their engagement and lobola negotiations.  AKA's relationship with Nellie (21) started soon after his second breakup with DJ Zinhle in 2020. Sadly the relationship ended in April 2021 when Nellie reportedly took her life by jumping off a hotel building in Cape Town. 

NADIA NAKAI: The South African-Zimbabwean rapper started dating AKA a year after Nellie's passing. She had his heart until he was killed last week Friday in Durban. Not only did they look cute together but we were still enjoying their beautiful relationship. Nadia even said in one interview that she would like to have a baby with the rapper. "God placed us together when we really needed each other,' She said in an interview on Kaya FM. Earlier in the year, she went on a family vacation with him, his family and daughter Kairo. The couple often shared beautiful cosy pictures and videos together on social media. Our heart goes out to the beautiful singer. AKA will be buried on Saturday.
