Muzi Mthabela is warning against scammers using his name

Internet crimes are fast-growing, and scammers are becoming wiser with the advancement of technology. Many Mzansi celebrities and public figures have fallen victim to online scams with some having had their social media accounts hacked. Criminals have found a way to use their names and titles as they are easily recognisable to fans, making them easy targets for criminals. Actor Muzi Mthabela has fallen victim to a forex scam and asks his fans to be on the lookout.

BE CAREFUL

The former Isibaya actor has warned fans not to accept any friend requests on social media from accounts using his name for Forex trading. "Another reminder. Please be careful out there. I don't sell forex or any such thing,' Muzi wrote in a post. "I don't ask for money for some product or another,' Muzi added that there are numerous dubious individuals using his account to scam victims. "My TikTok and Facebook accounts have been duplicated and faked by people, servants of evil, spawn of the devil, devious homo sapiens, who claim to solve financial problems. Be careful, please. It is not me.'
