A vote of confidence in the ANC in the past week but will they deliver?

The past three weeks have been very eventful for the ANC. First they came out victorious and ousted Mpho Phalatse, giving Dada Morero the opportunity to showcase how his executive mayoral capabilities will turn Johannesburg into a world class city, they claim it is. On the other hand, the legislature got a shake up MEC for education Panyaza Lesufi ascended into the premiership of the economic hub.

The two men that were sworn into power made a promise to elevate women and work hand in hand with them. Lesufi announced his cabinet on Friday afternoon and it boasts of six women. While he is for women,  MEC for Health Nomathemba Mokgethi will not be part of the team since she was released from her duties. We all know what has been happening in that department- let's just say R14 million, skinny jeans, Tembisa Hospital.
Parks Tau  was also sacked from being the  economic development and agriculture MEC, his replacement is Tasneem Motara, a woman!

THE REAL MAMA ACTION

Lesufi praised the MEC for Community safety Faith Mazibuko who retains her position  for doing a stellar job.Mazibuko has been spotted several times doing ground work, personally attending police raids and operations whenever the need persists. She doesn't hesitate to personally hunt for criminals and bring criminals to book. The safety of Gauteng residents is put in her hands and this is a clear indication that she's been doing something right. She was tasked with recruiting 6000 JMPD officers who will help fight the scourge of  crime.
"if we can't take the fight against criminals head-on, then we must forget, we want to push back on the aspect of vandalism and increase the portfolio's budget as we want to have a patrol car in every ward in the province. We are already in advanced talks with the Minister of Police to engage on how the new recruits would work hand in hand with the police." We've heard their promises now we wait to see if they will deliver.
