The big day is finally here. After a two year break, the DSTV Delicious International Festival of Food and Music is taking place this weekend at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit. Due to countries lockdown regulations that lasted for two years, the organisers were forced to abandon the event in respect of the rules.

The festival which has become a springtime outdoor music attraction in Johannesburg and a firm favourite for foodies. DSTV Delicious Food and Music Festival Publicist Refilwe Mahabane says, "The DSTV Delicious International Food and Music Festival is a music festival for food lovers and music lovers launched 7 years ago. They took the entertainment and culinary world by storm in its debut in Johannesburg in October 2013. Headlining the event was the Jamoroquai supported by variety of South African artists.UK celebrity chefs Aldo Zilli Ed Baines and John Burton Race displayed their signature dishes in a pop up restaurants in an event that was attended by 40 000 visitors who indulged in the best food Johannesburg had to offer. People must expect good food and good music."
WHAT TO EXPECT
Great culinary creatives will get to share their passion at Delicious Mile: the festival's Gourmet Street-Food Market, and this year festival-goers can expect an even bigger and better gastronomical experience. Along the way, they can also visit the Coca-Cola Taste of the City, which will boast 10 pop-up restos, that will serve up their flagship dishes. This year, the team at DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival have outdone themselves by adding even more flavour and a world class line-up to celebrate Heritage Weekend.
GOOD MUSIC
International megastars, Babyface, Angie Stone and Burna Boy are on the line-up. They will be performing along Sha Sha, Major League, Dlala Thukzin, Arthur, Zenzi Makeba. Burna Boy will perform live on the Delicious main stage on Saturday while Babyface will take the stage on Sunday. Both international artists will perform live on the Delicious Main Stage in what is being tipped as the biggest DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival to date
