The popular Moja Love show Uyajola 99 has gone beyond SA borders. The much-loved show was recently shot in Botswana. The show deals with disgruntled lovers who suspect their partners of cheating by investigating and then confronting the suspects, who are always caught red-handed.

BATSWANA WERE WELCOMING

Speaking to ZiMoja, presenter Jub Jub, real name Molemo Maarohanye, said he was stunned by the overwhelming response from Botswana when they were shooting the show in the neighbouring country. He told ZiMoja that it was about time they took the show beyond SA because cheating is everywhere. "I am excited we finally taking the show to our neighbouring countries because cheating doesn't happen only in SA," Jub Jub said. He told ZiMoja that he was welcomed with open arms. He also said the only difference between SA and Botswana is the fact that Botswana is a bit conservative and smaller. "People don't react the same as South African audiences do. In SA the crowd gets wilder and rowdy, people in Botswana are more reserved," he added.

NOTHING HAS CHANGED

He also said that the format of the show won't be changing because they crossed borders. "Why fix something that is not broken? We used the same format because it works," he bragged. He added that he looked forward to the show going across because people will do better in relationships. "We are trying to eliminate cheating all over Africa, we are fixing the continent," he said jokingly. "We going bigger and better," he said.
