South Africans are shining on the international music scene. This became evident after producer and rapper Anatii, real name Anathi Bhongo Mnyango was credited by USA rapper, Busta Rhymes, as one of the producers on his new project. Anatii has earned respect on the international stage and this shows in his latest production on Busta Rhymes' project, Block Busta. 

UNINSPIRED AND DEPRESSED

Busta Rhymes has given a shout-out to the Bisho-born star for his magic touch on the project. "Salute to the King, Anatii, for the production on Open Wide featuring Chris Brown and Shenseea," he said. "Banger on the BlockBusta album available and streaming everywhere."

Anatii says it was an honour, working on a massive project. "Had the honour of producing ?Open Wide' for my favourite rapper of all time, the dragon," Anatii said. "At a time during the pandemic, when I was feeling alone, borderline depressed and uninspired, Busta texted me one early morning asking me to call him regarding one of the records," he added. "I produced for him and shared his excitement about breezy jumping on the song, then proceeded to play it for me over the phone and I lost my mind."

THE CALLING

A few years ago, Anatii opened up about his spiritual calling, which contributed towards his music style. In the release of his song ?Amadlozi' featuring Lookatupsin 2022, he shared how he is protected by his ancestors. Anatii has worked with international heavyweights such as Tiwa Savage, Omarion and many others.
