After relocating to Dubai for more than a year, former Muvhango actress and influencer Tebogo Thobejane returned to South Africa to open a second strip club called C30. The deal has since fallen through and after a week of operations, the club closed down.

FIRST ATTEMPT

She opened her first strip club, Club X, at The Grand in Sandton, Johannesburg, a few years ago. But was forced to leave the country and close shop after attempts on her life. Tebogo escaped unscathed when a man shot through her e-hailing ride but left a friend she had been travelling with injured. This led to her leaving the country.

SECOND ATTEMPT

Upon her return from Dubai, she opened the second upmarket strip club, C30, in Sandton, but the attempt failed. "It didn't last. I think they did some renovations, tried to open but had to close down,' a source close to the actress revealed. "She was not attracting the audience and the shooting incident might have scared people a bit. The clubbing business is very competitive, and she tried to keep it on the low, but it did not work out. But there's nothing wrong; every entrepreneur knows that you try one business, it fails and you're onto the next.' Tebogo confirmed to ZiMoja that she is pursuing other business ventures. "People will know soon. I am always busy with something exciting. I almost got hit by five bullets, so I like to keep my life private.'
