Mzansi's favourite golden couple Siya Kolisi and his wife of eight years, Rachel, have decided to end their union.
To avoid drama and scrutiny from the prying media, the couple, who share two kids together, confirmed their break up in a joint statement this afternoon.
They claim the end to their marriage is amicable.
A JOINT STATEMENT
Their joint statement, which they also shared on their social media platforms said: "We wanted to share some important news with you. After much reflection and open conversations, we have mutually decided to end our marriage. This decision comes from a place of love, respect and understanding that this is the best path forward for both of us. While our relationship as a couple is changing, we remain great friends and committed partners in raising our children with the same love and care they've always known. We will also continue working together on the Foundation that means so much to us.
We are grateful for the love, understanding and support you've shown us and we kindly ask for your respect as we navigate this transition."

Kolisi had signed a signed a lucrative three-year deal at Racing 92, joining the French club after the Rugby World Cup. Last year, Kolisi premiered his much-anticipated documentary Rise: The Siya Kolisi Story. The screening happened at his place of birth in Zwide in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape and
the launch took place in Montecasino in Fourways, north of Joburg, where it was attended by A-listers.
