Shebeshxt under fire for driving with alcohol in his car

Shebeshxt has been criticised for drinking and driving

After he was involved in a car accident that claimed the life of his daughter six months ago, Limpopo bad boy Shebeshxt, real name Lehlogonolo Chauke, vowed to never drive again. But this weekend, he came under fire when he showed off his new sports car that cost over a million Rand. This comes after a video where he is seemingly drunk and showing off his new sports VW Golf.

BACK TO HIS OLD WAYS?

In the video, a fan chats with him in the driver's seat with his window opened. Then Shebeshxt shows off liquor that's next to him, which he was drinking. In June, Shebeshxt was travelling on the R37 near Smelter's Mine outside Polokwane, close to Chuene, when his new VW Golf was involved in an accident with a truck.

SOCIAL MEDIA NOT IMPRESSED

In the post, Chris Excel, wrote, "My boy doesn't learn." Another X user, AndriesAR, replied to Chris Excel: "Drinking and driving again. The death of his daughter is not that painful to him." Nota Baloyi, who had just been released from prison a week ago, also attacked the Monateng hitmaker. He also dragged Shebeshxt's Limpopo homeboy and EFF leader Julius Malema. He wrote: "How will you learn when Julius Malema bribes people to squash the accident report that could prove you murdered your child? People think prison is rehab, but the truth is the purpose is to remove offenders from society, but that doesn't compel them to change their behaviour," Nota wrote. Another popular X user, Kwena Mokekwa, questioned the state on how the artist escaped prosecution. Kwena wrote, "I wonder why the state failed to prosecute Shebeshxt for his daughter's murder! Honestly, justice for the elites." Some users even questioned why Shebeshxt would be allowed to work during this festive season when he is known to be a reckless driver and always fighting with fans at events. Called for comment, he said he didn't have time to give stupid comments. "I thought this was an important call."
