The Inkatha Freedom Party leader has encouraged their supporters to vote for the party as a sign of gratitude to their late founder Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi. IFP leader and president Velenkosini Hlabisa said this during the party's election manifesto launch under the theme "Lets do it for Shenge" at the Durban's Moses Mabhida Stadium in KwaZulu Natal which was filled to capacity today.

13 POINT-PLAN

Hlabisa said that his party will be turning things around where he presented a 13-point plan to rescue and give South Africa hope. Hlabisa said their main focus which are outlined in the 13-point plan are jobs, fighting crime and corruption, gender-based violence, loadshedding, education and health care. "Our 13-point plan will make every South African to understand why they should go and vote the IFP on the 29th of May. Trust us to get you working. Political freedom had not delivered social and economic justice for all, in fact SA has the pronounced level in the world," Hlabisa said. Hlabisa said with IFP in government, they will force build border walls forcing businesses to employ 80% South Africans to reduce unemployment. We will re direct some of the billions spent on SETA to ensure that all graduates are given a 12-month internship at municipalities, provincial and national government. Dr Mangosuthu Buthelezi passed away in 2023. Taking to the podium, said they no qualified nurse would stay at home unemployed while there are vacancies.

GRANT FOR UNEMPLOYED GRADUATES

Hlabisa added that the IFP will ensure that communities participate in the environmental health to preserve rhinos. "Under the IFP leadership, loadshedding will be the thing of the past. We will roll out an unemployed graduate grant of R3 000 to assist young people who are unemployed," he said. He further said that hospitals would be equipped with the best medical equipment. "The IFP will invoice a country of origin of each and every foreigner who is treated in SA. A House Benefit Scheme for those who earn at subsidiary. Intergrated the existing hostels into community," he said. "Trust us for functioning infrastructure. The infrastructure has been allowed to be broken down, with no plan to fix it," he said. The IFP also said it aims to restore the country's economy on the direction of growth. The IFP is the third party to host its election manifesto in Moses Mabhida after the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) and the African National Congress.
