A Russian druglord, known as Kiddo "Chapo", has allegedly ordered a hit on the life of Moja Love CEO and Xolani Maphanga, who recently took over Sizok'thola as a presenter. A private investigator revealed that "Chapo" contracted hitmen and offered to pay R500 000 for the lives of the pair.

Over a week ago, the Sizok'thola crew went to Lanseria to do a bust at a drug den allegedly run by Chapo. He alleged uses kids to sell drugs to school kids in Soweto and Lanseria.The channel said before going to the property, the crew went to Lanseria police station and asked for back up.

When they arrived at the property, Chapo's employees refused to open the gate and made them wait for over two hours. When they eventually allowed the crew in, the crew was able to spot what looked like equipment used for manufacturing drugs. There were several equipments, which appear to be used to manufacture drugs, plastic bags which appear to be used to wrap the contraband that was found. As the sniffer dogs were going through the combined three properties, the officers who had escorted them, received a call apparently from their superiors who ordered them to leave the property immediately.

BLOOD WILL BE SHED

It is alleged that Chapo's cousin was video recorded saying he will kill all those police man with their relatives within 24 hours if the crew can give them their badge numbers. They also told the crew that they would take the crew to the big factory where they produce drugs that are sold in black townships killing children and leaving families poor. The crew didn't give him the badge numbers.

For their safety, the crew also left the property immediately. Following the incident the channel contracted private investigators after Tau found a suspicious looking man sitting next to his home in Joburg. When he asked how he could be of any assistance to him, the man, who looks and speaks in Eastern European accent, said he was looking for an address. Tau took pictures of the man  and also took down the man's vehicle registration plate. He then sent it to a private security company, that managed to trace the suspicious man. He visited Tau's house again and this time was spotted by security personnel.

The investigators discovered that the man was there to gather intelligence on behalf of hitmen, the Vardos gang which include former prisoners, hired by Capo to kill Tau and Maphanga. One of the hitmen linked to the druglord is a former police cop known from the channel. The former cop and his cousin have allegedly carried hits on behalf of Capo. The Vardos are believed to have killed the community leader in Lanseria who was preaching against drugs and Capo's competitor in Eldorado Park.

"Law enforcement is handling the matter. As a channel we will not operate from a space of fear when drugs are killing our communities. We will not be intimidated, and we will continue exposing those that continue to kill our nation with drugs,"said Moja Love.
