They were blessed with a baby boy earlier this year and know and understand how expensive babies can be. The musician couple decided to gift one new mother with a baby hamper as part of giving back to the community.

BEING AWARE OF THE DIFFICULTIES

According to the couple, they understand that even though they both work hard, tsome parents are not in a position to afford all the needs of a newborn. That was the reason behind their decision to gift a new mom-to-be with a baby hamper that will consist of baby essentials. "We also understand that there are so many parents who work as hard as we do and still cannot afford these things," Khuli said. The stylish duo said having a baby inspired them to change someone’s life. "After making sure that Lamiez Holworthy had a great first Mother’s Day and seeing just how expensive babies are, we decided to gift one deserving new mom or mom-to-be with a baby hamper, " Khuli added.  

The lucky mother will walk away with brand new products such as a new cot bed, bedding, cot bumper, baby pram, car seat, ten-piece coming home clothing set and a feeding pillow. "Everything will be brand new because we appreciate our genuine fans but also understand how taxing it can get," the rapper said. The couple will select the most deserving mother and they have also urged their followers to nominate someone they know.

COUPLE TO LAUNCH THEIR OWN FOUNDATION

According to a source close to the couple, the love birds will donate the products via their foundation which was inspired by their newborn baby boy. Although the couple refused to comment further, ZiMoja has learnt that their son inspired them to start a foundation where they will be sending kids to school and buying school uniforms. Lamiez has already started the work as she is taking care of a couple of kids and has built them a home. "Parenthood is so good to them, don’t get me wrong they are naturally good people deep down, but they have realised how fortunate and blessed they are. It is such a beautiful thing to witness," adds the source 

WELCOMING THEIR FIRST CHILD TOGETHER

Lamiez Holworthy and Khuli Chana announced the arrival of their baby boy two months ago. Congratulatory messages have flooded their timeline after the proud parents excitedly revealed they welcomed their baby boy. The two are also raising Khuli’s eight-year-old daughter from his previous relationship with TV presenter Asanda Maku.
