He was spat out of his moving car just 11 days after posing and taking snaps before his new car at the dealership. TRU FM radio host Silulami "Slujah" Bunu is devastated by the accident as he hurt his spine during a car crash. He is also grateful to have made it out alive.

DRUNK DRIVER
Slujah says this is the fourth car accident he has been involved in between 1 January 2023 and 28 January 2024. "I don't know what sign this could be," he tells ZiMoja. He collected his car from the dealership on 17 January and the accident happened on 28 January. "There was a drunk driver in front and I tried to escape but failed. I saw him from a distance changing lanes and I tried to dodge him a few times but we crashed," he says. "The driver of the other car died on the spot, it was bad. His passenger is in hospital and so am I." Slujah says he lost his memory after that and woke up in hospital.

INJURED
Slujah says he had three passengers and at the back and one in front - one being his producer Asive Sotashe. "No one at the back was hurt but the guy in front has also been hospitalised." A badly hurt Slujah with a neck brace is asking for prayers as his back needs serious medical attention. "As it stands, I hurt my spine, my back is in extreme pain, that is the main thing for me. I can't move and get up. I am scared and ask that people pray for my recovery. My waist was hurt, and it's difficult to urinate because the impact was so hard," he says. Still, with a will to live, Slujah advises people to be careful on the road. "We try to be careful but some people are reckless. I urge people to be extra cautious."
