She is infuriated after learning that a social media scammer created an account using her details to sell sex online. Bargeoise Brazil, real name Ennie Tembie Cleary, was forwarded a screenshot from a sex workers marketplace by a close friend where her details are used in the oldest business trade.

She told ZiMoja, "That person created a dehumanising prostitution advert about me on a website with my business number, my name, an area I live in and a naked picture of a stranger on 15 September 2024." The advert states that Bargeoise Brazil is available to men of all tribes and creeds, however, due to profanity, ZiMoja is unable to share the post. "It's a complete violation of my privacy and below my standards,' she said. "I don't judge sex workers, however using my details is a violation of my rights and the POPIA Act," she said. Bargeoise Brazil contacted the website who have launched an investigation and deleted the post. "I have tried to open a case, but things of this sort are hard to report as social media violation is still very new for us in South Africa,' she said.

HARD TIMES

Bargeoise Brazil is not new to controversy as last year she announced that she was selling her menstrual blood. She said the idea came into mind when she appeared on the cooking show, Come Dine With Me, where she made pink chicken feet. She later learned that some people had a fetish called 'menophilia' (where the sight, smell, feel, taste and thought of menstruation and blood is sexually arousing). "Sex sells honey, I courier across South Africa,' she boasted. But she said this is not the case here. Not long ago, ZiMoja also reported that Bargeoise Brazil had fallen on hard times and moved from her luxurious mansion to a smaller home, to downgrade. "I am doing just fine,' she said. "All I am worried about now is making sure that whoever is responsible for the post gets caught,' she added.
