Phila Madlingozi called an Ice boy!

Dominic Zaca and Phila Madlingozi are at war

Drama between social media influencer and activist Dominic Zaca and Phila Madlingozi, who is the son of singer Ringo Madlingozi, has escalated once again to its lowest levels, this time it has even led to a police case being opened as there are claims of death threats.

It all started with a comment made by Madlingozi, who addressed Zaca as man. Zaca who identifies as non-binary and answers to they or them, took offence to this.

SHE CALLED HIM BROKE

In a series of now viral social media videos Zaca called Madlingozi out and labelled him an ice boy (a slang-term meaning a broke guy who lives the good life off his friends) with a non-existent career.

According to Zaca , Mandlingozi also threatened to kill him. Zaca expressed on Tik Tok that they have opened a case against Mandlingozi.

"I have realised that he is obsessed with me and that he is unhinged. His repeated utterances that he would kill me - a sign that he is capable of acting on his threats," said Zaca.

NOT THEIR FIRST FIGHT

The two frenemies are known for their name-calling attacks on each other. This time it was fuelled by Madlingozi who shared with his followers that,"Dominic Zaca is a South African man who masquerades as a woman. He goes around talking about me."

Zaca proceeded to call Madlingozi out for lying.

"Phila you're nothing but a homophonic nepo baby, with no career. I will pay you R10 000 to prove that I spoke on your name. I know you need your money as live off your father. Why are you so obsessed with reminding me that I am a man?asked Zaca.

Zaca went on to express that it is the second time their life is threatened by Madlingozi .

"The first one was in December hence I took a break from social media, not because I was afraid but because of the death threats I was receiving," Zaca said.

Madlingozi defended himself by saying that, "People are quick to hide behind being victims. Isigezo! Isigezo! (rudeness) Protecting amageza that hide behind victimisation is wrong. To make fun of men and demand that we don't answer is criminal,"
