WIELDING PANGAS
Mboro was armed with pangas and his bodyguards also armed with pangas and guns, which appeared to be AK47s. In several videos widely shared on social media, Mboro can be seen holding two pangas and wielding them at a female teacher who was approaching him. "Don't you dare come close to me," he said to the teacher as he threatened the teachers. In another video, he can be seen grabbing two minor children and forcefully removing them from the school premises and uttering some ungodly words. It's alleged that the supposed man of God wanted to take his grandchildren, whom he doesn't have custody of.
CUSTODY BATTLE
Addressing the issue outside the police station, Mboro said that he had gone to the school to get his grandchildren, whom he said were his son's children. "This kids mother died and I buried her using my money, but their maternal grandmother is refusing my son his kids. The school principal is also refusing me the kids; she is supporting the grandmother," he said. He added, "My son raised those kids for seven years until they took them away after the funeral. The reason they took them away from us is because they want my money. They are using the kids to milk money from me. My son was here on Friday and they assaulted him. I am helping him to get his kids back," he added. Mboro showed a video of his son's face badly scarred and swollen.

INCIDENT CONDEMNED
MEC for Education in Gauteng Matome Chiloane condemned the incident and said that according to a preliminary report at their disposal, a conflict between two families over the custody of the boy learners enrolled at the school in Grade RR and Grade 2 has been escalating. "It is said that the mother of the children passed away in April this year, leading to a dispute between the paternal and maternal sides of the family. The deputy principal and some staff members refused to release the children without the grandmother's permission. This led to the pastor arriving at the school with bodyguards and weapons," Chiloane said. He said the matter has been reported to the police and that psycho-social support will be deployed for the affected teachers and learners to help them cope with the trauma resulting from this incident. National police spokesperson,Brigadier Athlenda Mathe, said the police are investigating the incident. "A team of detectives is currently taking statements from witnesses and all suspects concerned at the police station. An update will be given," she said.
