From buying her first house and car at the age of 23 and graduating in social work, singer and songwriter Nomfundo Moh Ngcobo adds another achievement to her bucket list. She will be opening her first restaurant business La Mar in Spruitview, Johannesburg.
BUSINESS VENTURE
Nomfundo (24) made the announcement just days after releasing her single uMusa featuring Msaki and Cassper Nyovest. The singer says she is excited to be creating employment through her new business venture. "Today we created employment opportunities for our brothers and sisters," she said. "Soon opening our first restaurant, La Mar Restaurant in Spruitview. To God be the glory." She joins the restaurant business along with celebrities such as DJ Oskido, J Something, Siba Mtongana, DJ Shimza, Benny Maverick, Nicky van der Walt and Maps Maponyane who has since closed all of his Buns Out businesses.
SUCCESS AND DISCIPLINE
She has achieved a lot before the age of 25 years and says her family has been instrumental in her discipline. "I have my family that is supporting my every decision. My final years of studying with difficult because that is when my career blew up, I released Phakade Lam and I needed to do my practicals," she told ZiMoja.
