Police in KwauZulu-Natal have confirmed that more suspects will be arrested in the murders of Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes and his friend Tebello 'Tibz' Motsoane, who were gunned down last year in the busy street of Florida Road where they had been.dining. Provincial Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi said the puzzle of having more people arrested is coming together.
MORE SUSPECTS TO BE NABBED
Mkhwanazi is adamant that the main people behind the murders will be apprehended in no time. "The puzzle of having more people arrested is coming together. We want to get the main people behind the killings," he told eNCA in an interview yesterday. Mkhwanazi continued, "There is a very interesting investigation unfolding behind the scenes. You know me, I cannot talk about things until I come to court. Interesting evidence that will be shared in court that is going to make the public realise to what extent people go to plan someone's murder."
SUSPECTS BEHIND BARS
Earlier this year, seven men were arrested and charged with their murder. Lindokuhle Thabani Mkhwanazi, Lindani Zenzele Ndimande, Siyanda Eddie Myeza, Mziwethemba Harvey Gwabeni, and Lindokuhle Lindo Ndimande were arrested in KwaZulu Natal, while two brothers Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande were arrested in eSwatini and are awaiting extradition. The other five suspects appeared before the Durban Magistrate's Court in August and their case was postponed to next week Thursday as the police are completing their investigations. The accused are facing charges of conspiracy to commit murder, two counts of murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and five counts of attempted murder.
