MOB ATTACK
He said members of the community heeded their neighbour's call and mobilised, rushing to the premises. "The woman and one other accomplice managed to flee the scene on foot but their partner was caught and severely assaulted by the mob. Unfortunately, the suspect succumbed to his injuries on the scene. The police were called after the incident and found the body of the deceased aged between 40 and 47, laying on the street with severe wounds, " he said. He said a murder case was opened and a manhunt for the unknown suspects responsible for the mob attack has since been launched by the police. The Provincial Commissioner of Police Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, has urged community members not to take law into their own hands.
