LOVEAT FIRST GAME
The couple met a year ago in France during the Rugby World Cup and they have been all over each other since then. To show that she is not only loved by Papa Joy , during one of her visits in France earlier this year, her mother-in-law presented her with a gold ring as a token of appreciation and her welcoming her into her new family. Mama Joy was the first to announce on social media that she found her permanent joy in Paris. The flamboyant superfan has been documenting her newly found happiness all over her social media pages. Last week, the couple explored Cape Town and Soweto. Pitaudi, who Mama Joy refers to as Papa Joy, also met the Royal AM superfan's children.
HITCHED
Following their official engagement in Cape Town last week, Papa Joy travelled to Mama Joy's village of Malamulele, Limpopo, to formalise the lobola ceremony where the lovebirds' exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony attended by a few friends and family members. HER ROSE TO FAME
The 47-year-old gained fame for being a diehard Orlando Pirate fan for 30 years, but sadly she announced her divorce from the Buccanears three years ago to join MaMkhize's Royal AM. But the fan's fame rose to new heights when she was chosen by FIFA as one of the fan ambassadors at the 2022 Soccer World Cup in Qatar to represent Africa. Recently, Mama Joy has come under fire for allegations of being funded by the government to attend local and international games. This was sparked by fired Democratic Alliance (DA) MP Renaldo Gouws' tweets, which suggested Mama Joy's superfan career has been funded by the Department of Sports, Arts, and Culture.
