The late Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi's daughter has passed away. Princess Sibuyiselwe Angela Buthelezi, who was also an IFP Member of Parliament died this morning at a Cape Town hospital, where she was admitted a week ago.

Princess Angela was Buthelezi's youngest child. In a statement, the Buthelezi family said they received the news in the early hours of this morning.
The family said Princess Angela fell ill while in Cape Town to attend a sitting of Parliament. "Together with my elder sister, Princess Phumzile Nokuphiwa Buthelezi, Princess Angela and I were the last remaining children of uMntwana waKwaPhindangene, among eight siblings,"said Prince Zuzifa Buthelezi.
A YEAR AFTER HER FATHER
He said the loss of his sister comes a year after the passing of their father. "The loss of Princess Angela just a year after the passing of our father is a terrible shock. While her health was not perfect for several years, we did not expect this sudden news. Princess Angela is survived by her only child, Princess Ntando Neiruka, who was always by her side. Our deepest sympathy is with our niece at this painful time," Zuzifa said in a statement. He said details of the funeral will be shared in due course. "For now we simply share our heartache with the nation which our sister served with such dedication."
