A pub owner was shot dead and five others wounded when gunmen randomly shot at patrons in Makhado, Limpopo. It’s alleged that two unknown men entered the establishment just before midnight on Saturday and started shooting randomly at patrons.

Limpopo police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba said during the ordeal, five victims sustained injuries due to gunshot wounds while the 41-year-old pub owner died on the scene. He added that police were informed about the shooting incident along 74 Krogh and Kwa Dollar streets and quickly rushed to the area. "On arrival, members found the lifeless body of the 41-year man. Further observations revealed that the deceased sustained multiple gunshot wounds on the upper body," Ledwaba said, adding that the motive for the killing is unknown.
HUNT FOR SUSPECTS
Ledwaba said provincial police commissionaire Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe ordered an immediate manhunt for the suspects. "It is believed that the suspects fled the crime scene driving in a white VW Polo and silver Grey Mercedes-Benz motor vehicle with unknown registration numbers.
