Lekompo newcomer shows Xigubhu singer flames

Fiesta Black and Tribby Wadi Bhozza are not in good spirits

Xigubhu singer Fiesta Black has been excited about the release of her upcoming single titled Teka Teka. She was hoping it would be the music industry comeback she had been praying for. But Fiesta Black, real name Thandi Nakampe Mokgoankgoa, is disappointed after a fallout with Lekompo newcomer Tribby Wadi Bhozza, real name Themba Tshepang Mphahlele.

DISHEARTENED

An associate close to the singer told ZiMoja, that she had been promoting the upcoming release of her single Teka Teka featuring Tribby. But the song might not see the light of day as the Mekwanti artist has been "pulling stunts.' The associate said Tribby was paid for the feature and Fiesta Black's team spent money on making sure Tribby is "treated like the star he is,' the friend said. "They booked him a hotel, bought him food and drinks and also paid him for the feature. Everything was going well. He was good, until recently when Fiesta Black announced the song would be out today, 25 October."

CONFLICT

But Fiesta Black took to her social media to announce that the song had been pulled back from being released. "Due to unforeseen circumstances. I will no longer be dropping Teka Teka as promised. My apologies to everyone who was looking forward to the song but I will make it up to you all soon,' she said. The friend added that Tribby asked for the song not to be released. "He said he hated his verse on the song, that's the first reason. Did he not realise this on the day of recording? He also said the song would interfere with the music that he is currently promoting. How? People push several songs at a time, and why did he not make this clear prior, so that we plan accordingly? Money was spent, he was happy and the poor girl was looking forward to dropping the song as we are nearing the festive season.' The matter has currently not been resolved. "I won't lie, Fiesta Black is very disheartened but the team is trying to sort out that matter.' Fiesta did not want to comment to ZiMoja. "Yazin ne, it's okay. I don't want to comment,' she said. Tribby told ZiMoja, he didn't like his verse. "I don't like the verse, simple.'
