Hardly a week after Lebo M announced that he was divorcing his fourth wife Pretty Samules-Morake, ZiMoja understands that the couple has reconciled. This is apparently after the families got involved and convinced the couple to work on mending their marriage. Zimoja understands that Pretty’s former brother-in-law brokered a reconciliation agreement between the feuding couple in front of lawyers over the weekend, where it was agreed the estranged wife will stop upsetting the husband and that she will acknowledge her shortcomings publicly to redeem Lebo M for going public about their marital problems.
HE MADE IT OFFICIAL WITH A STATEMENT
The Lion King producer, whose real name is Lebo Morake, announced through a media statement that he will be issuing his wife Pretty with divorce papers. "I will not be drawn into salacious allegations and innuendos about my business and personal life. I will be going ahead with the divorce and have already instructed my attorneys,†said Lebo M. According to a source close to the situation, Lebo needed some answers about certain things he was not happy about that needed to be addressed before the couple could move on. "Lebo does not like dishonesty, he will cut you off immediately if you approach him like that," says the source.
FAMILY MEETING TO RESOLVE MARITAL ISSUES
Sources close to the couple say there was a family meeting that went on for about seven hours with the couple. According to the insider, after a long meeting, a verdict was finally reached. "Lebo decided not to proceed with the divorce after Pretty came clean about certain things that Lebo was not clear about," adds the source. According to the source, Lebo still loves his wife and he understands no one is perfect including himself. The source adds that Lebo is extremely loyal and if anyone shows signs of dishonesty, he will cut them off immediately. "Of course, Lebo’s reconciliation comes with terms and conditions, Pretty is expected to Issue a formal apology as one of the conditions," adds the source.
FEARING FOR HIS LIFE
A day after announcing that he was divorcing his wife, Lebo issued another statement where he explained his reasons for wanting to divorce his wife. He said when he travelled to Europe earlier this year, he gave Pretty his electronic signature as he had given her proxy to sign documents on his behalf. The couple allegedly fought as Pretty refused to destroy and delete the signature from her computer as per his request. " Samuels-Morake eventually relented and signed the affidavit stating that she had indeed destroyed the signature,†read the statement. He said he also asked his wife to sign an affidavit confirming that there were no policies she opened in his name and would benefit from upon his death, and he alleges she refused to sign. "This has placed me in a position of great discomfort, and I fear for my life and that of my children. I am worried and do not understand why my estranged wife refuses to sign the second affidavit. I am consulting with my attorneys to investigate and verify whether I have any fraudulent life policies in my name and/or any life covers taken to insure my life without my knowledge and consent, as this would be tantamount to fraud,†Lebo said. Lebo M and Pretty could not be drawn into commenting on the matter.
