He shocked his followers on social media when he posted a picture of himself, and two women dressed in traditional African regalia followed by another shot with popular Durban DJ Hlo. Followers assumed he was getting married... again.
PROUDLY AFRICAN
But laughing the comments off and enjoying the attention a bit, businessman Lebo Gunguluza said he is not getting married anytime soon. "That is DJ Hlo from Durban, one of the ambassadors for a project I am currently working on. Nothing happening between us," he clarifies. Friday, 25 May, is Africa Day, and he is gearing up to make a big announcement on the day. "I might as well spill the beans. On Africa Day, I am announcing the first-ever South Africa Cultural Festival. So, the content is to promote the coming festival. DJ Hlo is one of the ambassadors for the coming festival which will host about 8 000 people from the entire continent at the Dube Tradeport. So, the pictures and videos are to promote the diversity in South African culture," he added.
FINDING LOVE AGAIN
Since his divorce in 2022 to Lebo Mokoena, he has not dated anyone, but he is open to finding love again. "People like to compare me to Lebo M. I find that so funny. Lebo has been married a few times and they think the same will happen to me," he joked. "But maybe I am a little bit like him, we love, love. No matter how many times you get hurt, you can still find love again." Lebo has not been going on dates, just focusing on work. "I am single, still a bachelor, but definitely looking, while I work on myself. I love the idea of love and having a family. I am a traditional guy and family is important to me," he said. He also said he hopes to get married again in the next two to three years. "I am taking my time and just want to work on myself, so that I am good when I try again for the third time." Before Lebo Mokoena, he was married to his former PA Mafani Gunguluza and he has seven children in total.
