When they first met on season two of Real Housewives of Durban, reality TV stars Nonku Williams and Jojo Robinson did not get along. But the two stars have since become best friends and defend each other through thick and thin.

A ROCKY START

Nonku already had a 'tricky' reputation in season one after announcing that she was the mother of Sfiso Ncwane's out-of-wedlock child. In season two, Jojo joined the show, coming in as a tattoo fanatic and artist, who is married to Durban businessman and former kickboxing champion Calven Robinson and has an eight-year-old son, Rocco.

THREE YEARS OF FRIENDSHIP

Jojo describes her friendship with Nonku as strong and that Nonku has been there for her through trying times. "She defended me in my absence and regardless of the pushback she got, she never wavered, and I will continue to pay back to her for the rest of our lives," Jojo said. "She is and will always be my Nonkie. Three years down the road and we are still strong. I don't think there's ever been a friendship that people have tried to pull apart more. Yet we stand," she added. "Friendship is loyalty to one another above all else. Yes, we do talk to each other about things we might not agree with, but privately. In public, all you get is support, it's not lack accountability it's loyalty in action," Jojo concluded.

 REGULAR FRIENDSHIP

Nonku has previously commended Jojo on her loyalty to her as a friend. "Loyalty is about people who stay true to you behind your back. Thank you, Jojo, I really value and appreciate you, darling." Jojo said, everyone always wants to know what her friendship is like without the cameras, which she described as normal. "I went to my Nonkie Nonks house today with Ru, and my son (because our kids love each other)," she said. "I gave her the drawing I did of her. Then we listened to music, spoke shit, made Tik-Toks, and swam in the pool (tried, it was too cold). Ate a lot of food (that her private chef made us. She fancy) she knocked me over with her bootie. We acted like kids and then I left."
