Radio personality Lerato Kganyago recently announced that she had a miscarriage two days before Valentine's Day. For years, she has longed to have a baby but has suffered five miscarriages. Social media personality, Inno Morolong has come forward to apologise again to Lerato for insulting her about her issues with fertility.
FIFTH MISCARRIAGE
On her Instagram stories, Lerato shared the reason for her silence on social media. She said this was because she was taking time to deal with grief. "Pardon my silence. This was the happiest but became painful part of this month of love," she said under a picture of a pregnancy scan with the ?Heaven Couldn't wait for You' soundtrack by Beyonce. "On the 12th is when my incredible gynae broke the news. I am much better than last week; my parents have been next to me and carried me. Thank you for checking on me," she added. Lerato previously shared details of another miscarriage and how it happened at a late stage of her pregnancy. "I was pregnant. I'm sure you guys saw that I was really big, then I had a miscarriage," she said.
THOUSAND APOLOGIES
Inno once insulted Lerato on her battle with having children. "It's not our problem, she has a loudmouth and she disrespects people. You see how God is punishing her. She is infertile." She said during a social media spat. "Some will be blessed with cars, and some will be blessed with children. It's life. You measure people with material things, God will show you. You tell people that you are Lerato Kganyago, and you tell people how better you are and how many cars you driving, and then you try to have kids, what happens? It's not witchcraft." She went on to make the same example with businesswoman, Babalwa Mneno. After Lerato opened up about her fifth miscarriage, Inno apologised profusely. "I'm sorry from the bottom of my heart," she said. "It was very distasteful of me to say such a horrible thing about you. Please find it in your heart to forgive me." Inno tells ZiMoja that what she said was insensitive and she was not thinking at the time. "I can only imagine her pain and I was being insensitive."
