She is a successful businesswoman and influencer. Gorgeous Mbali, real name Mbali Sebapu, has joined forces with business owner Ntombenhle Khathwane in creating a kiddies book that helps build their self-confidence.
SELF WORTH
The book, which is suitable for kids from three to nine years old, is titled Heiress Decides To Be A Princess. Mbali said this is a perfect gift that one can give their daughter, niece or grandchild for Christmas to help them work on their confidence and self-worth. "The book is about Heiress, who goes on a journey to find her inner worth. A must-read for every little girl dreaming of her own fairy tale life!' Mbali said.
A SNEAK-PEAK
Heiress is a curious, creative eight-year-old who loves designing dresses and styling her natural afro, inspired by the beauty of her kingdom. But Heiress often wonders whether she can ever be as great a princess and the queens she admires. When doubting herself, she goes on a journey with the gentle guidance of her Mama, Queen Mbali. This is where she learns that being a princess isn't about perfection or crown, but about staying true to yourself. The 44-page book also includes an activity book for colouring-in, crossword puzzles, word searches, and other activities.
COLLABORATION
The book is a joint venture between two award-winning female entrepreneurs, who as mothers, are on a mission to ensure that they build the confidence of young kids at an early age. Gorgeous Mbali is the founder of Hermosa Flor and Heirmosa Kids Hair Care and Ntombenhle is the founder of AfroBotanics Hair & Body. They have collaborated in different ways for eight years. "The future is about collaboration, even though we are both in the beauty and personal care space, we know there is room for all, and that we have our own customers, but importantly why not come together to amplify important messages that matter to both brands,' said Mbali. "I want my daughter, to inherit a better world, not just a thriving business. I have experienced so much unkindness and outright bullying on social media as I have built my brands and businesses and I want my daughter to be in the generation that is just kind,' Mbali added.
