Former Gomora actor and musician Seekay, real name Sicelo Buthelezi, and his partner are expecting their first baby together. The two recently hosted friends for a small intimate baby shower and lunch to celebrate the baby on the way.

A DAD-TO-BE

A close friend of the two said, Seekay (25) has committed himself to the new role of fatherhood and can't wait to make his partner a wife. "But he is very secretive and wants to keep his personal life separate from his work. He proposed to the mother-to-be and wears the ring; he is ready to take the next step' the friend said. Seekay confirmed the news but did not wish to share further details on the mother of his unborn child. "I'm excited, everyone knows. I don't want to share too much too soon," he told ZiMoja.

FLOURISHING

Seekay burst into fame when he was cast for the role of a high school boy on Gomora; he has since flourished and gone on to play other roles, including Now Or Never, Skeem Saam and his latest on Isitha. While acting, he has managed to balance his flourishing music career. "I can never choose between the two; I love acting- I get to be someone else. Music allows me to be myself.'
