Popular Gagasi FM presenter and comedian Felix Hlophe has admitted that he is heartbroken and disappointed after the woman he wanted to take as a second wife broke up with him. Addressing his fans on a social media Hlophe said he was nursing a broken heart.
SHE WANTS NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM
His plans to take a second wife, Ayanda Bhengu, have been messed up after she text him on WhatsApp telling him not to even come closer to her. She promised to call security guards on the radio presenter if he dared to come to her workplace. The break-up happened this week when Hlophe and his first wife Tracy Smith celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary. In what her fans thought was joke, Bhengu asked her followers on Instagram to tell Hlophe to leave her alone.
She wrote: "Manibona uFelix Hlophe nimtshele ahlukane nami bakithi (when you see Felix Hlophe please tell him to leave me alone), I've honestly had it and trying to stay sane for the sake of my kids ngoba (because) I'm all they have," Bhengu wrote.
NURSING A HEARTBREAK
A heartbroken Hlophe said he had planned to marry Bhengu but their relationship has since failed. He confirmed that the woman he had wanted to marry had left him and confessed that he was not okay. "I'm trying to act strong, but I'm not Superman. I'm hurt," he said. He also said if some people are rejoicing in his pain, that is okay. He said he had introduced Bhengu to his first wife and his children.
"I love my wife dearly and she is the one soothing me through this thing," he said, adding that he must protect his family and he will always do that. He said despite the failed relationship with Bhengu, he cannot fail as a lover, father and husband. Before the whole drama, Hlophe had accused Bhengu of cheating on him. Before taking a serious decision, Hlophe asked Bhengu if he should cancel the lobola negotiations since he was ready to send his uncle to pay lobola. Bhengu did not hesitate and told Hlophe she was fine if the lobola negotiations did not continue. In May, Hlophe announced that his wife Tracey, had given him the go-ahead to take Bhengu as a second wife.
