Despite rumours about their marriage being on the rocks, DJ Tira and reality star and businesswoman wife Gugu Khathi are celebrating their wedding anniversary. The couple has been married for eleven years and share two kids together.

NOT MOVED BY RUMORS

Speaking to ZiMoja, DJ Tira said he is no longer moved by rumours around his marriage and issues about his family. "Today my wife and I are celebrating our anniversary; we're still going strong," he said. DJ Tira said such rumours used to affect him and his family, including their relatives, but now they are strong and have no energy to entertain such. "We know who we are and we don't seek validation from anyone," he added.

Gugu shared a touching message to her husband through her social media yesterday. "Happy Anniversary, my love! It's hard to believe that we've officially been married for 11 years, yet it feels like we've been together forever. Thank you for being my partner, my confidant and my ride or die. You are the love of my life, and each day with you is a blessing. Here's to our journey, filled with love and laughter, and to many more beautiful years to come. I love you endlessly, Sotobe Wami."

CHEATING SCANDALS

The couple recently celebrated Gugu's birthday in style a few weeks ago, where Tira, real name Mthokozisi Khathi, surprised her with a sports car, a Porsche. In the past, the couple was hit by a cheating scandal. where Gugu was accused of cheating on the DJ with Kwela Tebza's Tebogo Lerolo,an allegation she denied. Last week, there were also reports that DJ Tira was cheating on his wife with a social media influencer. The DJ told ZiMoja that he would no longer entertain gossip as he is content and happy with his wife. Tira will drop his highly anticipated compilation this coming Friday: Afrotainment Summer Bangers.
