Popular Durban DJ Cndo is asking for help to recover her laptop and is willing to pay a reward for the return of the laptop that was stolen on Monday in Glenwood Spar, Durban, in KwaZulu Natal.

R5,000 REWARD

Cindo said that the laptop contains critical personal and professional data. "A reward of R 5000 is being offered for any information that leads to the safe recovery of this device. If you have any details about its whereabouts, kindly contact us at your earliest convenience. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated," she posted on her Instagram. Since she does not want to deal with the information of how the laptop was stolen, she has asked for her manager, Phila Man Beats, to be contacted.

SHE IS NOT THE FIRST ONE TO LOSE 

The drama of musicians and media personalities losing their gadgets seems to be an ongoing phenomenon. Just last year in April, DJ Tira also suffered a huge loss when thieves broke into Afrotainment headquarters in Morningside, Durban. The thieves made off with expensive musical instruments, sound systems, and speakers worth thousands of rand. DJ Tira and his team even offered an R20,000 reward to get people with information to assist with the whereabouts of the instruments, but they were never recovered. DJ Tira said that they took everything and in his opinion, it was a pre-planned robbery.
