Pictures of TV personality Minnie Dlamini and celebrity surgeon Dr. Brian Monaisa cosy in various locations have been circulating on social media. This is after the plastic surgeon shared a reel in his Instagram stories. Close friends have confirmed to ZiMoja that the two are indeed an item.

According to a friend in their circle, they started as friends. "They were both in relationships, and they were genuine friends, and we all spent a lot of time together,' the friend revealed. "It just happened naturally when both of them became single. There was no extramarital affair or cheating, just people who had a great time together as friends.'

SEPARATION

Minnie and her estranged husband, Quinton Jones, separated in 2022 after their fairytale marriage of four years. Minnie said while she always wanted to raise her children in a home with both parents, she reached a point in her marriage where she no longer knew who she was. "People need to understand that when a marriage ends, it doesn't end at the announcement or the day before the announcement; it ends long before that,' she said. "By the time I announced, I had gone through a lot of processes already. At the time of the announcement, it felt like a really big relief and a weight off my shoulders. I never imagined getting divorced. I always thought that I would raise my kids how I was raised. I just felt like, for me, the timing was off; I felt like I didn't know myself. Furthermore, I went on to lose myself in my marriage.'

Dr Brian made a name for himself as a leader in the surgery fraternity and performed beauty miracles on some of the country's stars. He was named the head of plastic surgery at Charlotte Maxeke Hospital, dealing in reconstructive plastic surgery cases. He also won the award for "Best Clinical Paper by a Registrar' at the APRSSA congress for his work in limb reconstruction and was a runner-up in the Bert Myburgh research day at WITS Medical School for research conducted in cosmetic breast surgery. Both Minie and Brian remained mum about the relationship at the time of publishing.
