World-renowned DJ Black Coffee has opened a new chapter in his life. He has accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. According to well-placed sources, the Grammy award-winning superstar attended Grace Bible Church where he gave his life to the Lord. 

NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE

When the mega star walked to the podium to answer the alter call, many church goers were rejoicing and encouraged him in his decision to have Jesus in his life. "People were shocked and of course happy at the same time, because this is not an every day occurrence. He also seemed happy with his decision to take the first step to draw near to God," asserted a close source. 

The superstar was recently involved in a near fatal air accident and this is said to be one of the reasons for his salvation. "Seeing his life flashing before him gave him a different perceptive on life and made him take stock of his life and the way he has been living. He has never been the same ever since the accident," said the source. 

SETTING AN EXAMPLE

The DJ, whose real name is Nkosinathi Maphumulo, was also motivated by the desire to set a good example for his children. "He wants to be the person that his kids look up to and there's no other way to do it than to build a solid relationship with God," another source said.

Becoming a born-again Christian comes with lifestyle adjustments, which Black Coffee has begun making. "He?s changing a lot of things in his life. He?s quitting booze and the party lifestyle is also something he's changing, but he'll continue to be a DJ and he'll only attend events at which he's booked for," claimed the source.
