While many celebs are losing their cars and homes, former model turned club hostess Babalwa Mneno seems to be doing well for herself. The former Miss SA runner-up gifted herself with a Bentley GTS earlier this month. The car currently retails for between R1 and R3 million depending on the year model and specs.

FINANCIAL WOES

Early this year, Babalwa was fighting with her bank for trying to repossess her Range Rover after she reportedly failed to pay for it. According to reports, the famous media personality reportedly took an R1.7 million car loan from Standard Bank but allegedly defaulted on her monthly R 20,035 installment payments since February 2020. The arrears had accumulated to a total of R 81,345 as of May 2022 and she allegedly had a loan amounting to R 928,608 excluding interests. But according to the source, those are things of the past. "Business is booming for the girl,' adds the source.

LIVING IT UP ABROAD

According to the source, Babalwa who is currently in Europe enjoying summer is at her happiest. The source says it took a lot for Babalwa who is a breadwinner to get where she is. "People don't know how smart and dedicated Babalwa is to her family,' adds the source. Another source says Babalwa decided to gift herself with her dream car. "She has always loved Bentley and she was not going to wait for a man to get it to her,' adds the source. According to the source, Babalwa has been planning to buy the car but in the past two years, things were bad, especially in the nightlife industry. "She bought herself a nice birthday gift and we are happy for her,' according to the source they are proud of Babablwa who also financially takes care of her family. "She also takes care of us as friends, a lot of people do not know that, I know so many people she has taken into her home because they have lost their home, Babalwa does not even share such things with people,' adds the source.
