The nasty break up between Afrotainment singer and producer Prince Bulo and his girlfriend Snethemba Mbuyazi is now heading to court. In a twist of events, Bulo has applied for a protection order and a claim of R300 000 for defamation of character from his ex, who is demanding her money from him.
A furious Mbuyazi says, "Mo'guy went and filed for a protection order and accused me of abusing and harassing him. He made it look like I?m a crazy ex-girlfriend who is refusing to break up with him. I am returning the favour by also getting same protection order and telling my side of the story. I have also opened a case of theft because he is refusing to return my money and phone as he had promised to return them. He also responded to my letter of demand via his lawyers demanding R300k for false allegations, I don?t know how when there's proof of everything. We will see who has a stronger case."
Bulo is accused of swindling Mbuyazi of R30 000 in cash and an i Phone 14 Pro, which she borrowed him when he did not have a phone.
ZiMoja reported earlier this month about Bulo who is evading the wrath of the law after Mbuyazi wanted to serve him with a letter of demand.
Mbuyazi enlisted the services of Baleni Attorneys Incorporated. A letter of demand sent to Prince Bulo on August 30, stated,
"We are advised that you are indebted to our client for an amount totalling R22 628.90, being in respect of several loan agreements between yourself and our client. We are advised that you have failed or ignored requests to make payment. Despite our client reaching out to you on several times through messages sent to you via WhatsApp, We are therefore left with no other choice but to demand, as we hereby do, that you make payment of the amount due and payment of R22 628,9, within 14 days. Should you fail to make payment within 14 days, we hold instructions to commence legal proceedings against you, without further notice, to recover the full amount, together with interest and costs from date of demand." the letter reads.
Mbuyazi also said that she loaned Bulo a further R6 500 when he wanted financial help, to avoid being evicted from his flat. When Bulo was contacted, he refused to comment citing that the matter was with his lawyers.
