Actress and musician Itumeleng Bokaba has broken her silence about the rape case that is ruining her life She hogged headlines recently when she opened a rape case against music executive Nota Baloyi whom she accuses of violating her. Although he was nabbed and subsequently released on bail, Itumeleng Bokaba said this has impacted her life negatively

The actress whose acting career spans over a decade recently launched her music career, something she said was her first love, but instead of her trending for the music, she was tangled in a court case that she said now has affected her career. "This has not only affected my career, it has had a negative impact on my mental health. I also had to leave my job because of everything. That?s how this whole thing has affected my life. It?s been hectic," she told Zimoja.

Throughout the ordeal, she?s had the support of her family, who have stood by her side through everything. However, her boyfriend, who is also a notable actor has been by her side. "I?m grateful for the support that my family has shown and that of my boyfriend, who has been with me through this entire ordeal. This whole situation has taken its toll on me," she said. 

To compound matters, Itumeleng is also awaiting the response from a protection order filed by Nota Baloyi. She said,"He filed a protection order against me, so I?m also waiting for the outcome of that, which makes my stress even worse".
