Following her fall out with the Miss SA organisers, It is believed that former Miss SA and Universe Zozibini Tunzi won’t be attending Miss SA taking place tonight at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria tonight. ZiMoja was the first one to report that Tunzi pulled out of the Miss SA as a judge after she had a fall out with organisers over money and contracts during the pre-Miss SA reality show, Road to the crown.
ILL TREATMENT
ZiMoja has learned that Zozi won’t be attending Miss SA because of the treatment she received from the organisers. According to the source she was invited but did not RSVP because she is still angry at the fact. Called for comment Miss SA CEO, Stephanie Weil, confirmed that she was invited although she has not RSVP. "Of course, she was invited but we are not sure if will be attending,"
STAYING AWAY FROM THE EVENT
But a close source to the beauty queen revealed that she won’t be gracing the event with her presence simply because of the disrespect she received. The source said she even told her mother that she won’t go unless someone important intervenes. "Imagine the beauty pageant without our national treasure They must make things right with her," the source suggested. Last year, Zozi unfollowed the Miss SA organisation on Instagram and removed the pageant title from her IG bio. The former Miss Universe and Miss SA title holder was also a no-show at the Miss SA 2023 crowning although she was expected. Speaking about her no-show, the organisation said at the time, "Tunzi is an in-demand personality with a full schedule. The Miss South Africa Organisation cannot speak to Ms Tunzi’s calendar nor social media activity, however, she is always welcomed and celebrated at any Miss South Africa event." Tunzi was crowned Miss SA in 2019 and selected as the host of the very first Miss SA reality TV show, Crown Chasers. Her fall out between the organisation happened after she was told to pay for her own wardrobe bill for the reality show
