YO TV presenter Azaria Khoza is said to be struggling after losing his mom. Khoza who lost his mother this week has taken some time off to deal with his loss. The East Rand born TV personality is currently at home with family while preparing for the funeral arrangements.
AN EMOTIONAL TRIBUTE
Khoza took to social media to pay tribute to his late mother in a heartfelt post titled "Sekwenzekile nakimi", which translates to "It has happened to me too". The post was met with an outpour of condolences and support from fans and colleagues alike. In his tribute, Khoza spoke fondly of his mother, sharing memories and expressing his grief at her passing. He also emphasised the importance of cherishing the people one loves while they still have them, urging his followers to "Hold your loved ones close and tell them you love them". "My tree has fallen. My best friend is gone! My mom has moved to another realm...I will forever cherish our wonderful and crazy moments. When we were together, we would laugh 70% of the time. My mom was/is literally my best friend. She used to randomly call me and say "woza ngikudayisele iphepha" (Come and let me update you on everything under the sun) and then she would tell me about everything under the sun. I mean everything. Moving from one topic to the next," he posted.
REFLECTING ON THEIR TIME TOGETHER
Khoza further said that they had a wonderful friendship, where sarcasm and laughter were the order of the day. "She was very needy to a certain degree. If 24 hours passed by without me calling... She would call and ask "Owww usukhathele yimi"? (Are you tired of me) This was her way of saying she missed me..." he wrote.
