The 35-year-old woman who recently found out that her longtime boyfriend impregnated her 17-year-old girl wants him to rot in jail. Mandisa Qwabe from Eshowe in the North Coast of KwaZulu Natal (KZN) is reeling in pain after she discovered that her 17-year-old daughter was dating the same man she was sleeping with.
SAME MAN
Qwabe told ZiMoja that she wanted his ex-boyfriend Mzwandile Mgobhozi who is an employee at the Dube Tradeport to pay for sleeping with her daughter while she was a minor. "People will judge my daughter and blame for introducing my daughter to him, Mzwandile met my daughter when she was 3-years old. We were young and I even introduced him to my family. At that time both of us were working in Stanger and we were staying together. I never imagined him sleeping with my daughter who grew up in front of him. "This alone means that he had been sleeping with daughter before the pregnancy. If my daughter became pregnant in 2022 and I only find out in 2023, this means they started sleeping together before 2022. I don?t want to lie, I trusted him with my child since he knew when she was three years old. I have never thought that my daughter will grow up and suddenly she will see a wife in her," she said. Qwabe said that what broke her heart was to find out that the baby her daughter was carrying belonged to Mgobhozi.
MISCARRIAGE
"I have WhatsApp and Facebook messages where he was asking my child if she did come clean with me about who was the father of the child. The sad part is that my daughter had a miscarriage and I buried that child by myself. He never contributed a cent in the funeral instead he kept asking my daughter when was she going to visit him. The nerve in that man, that man killed me inside. I can?t even sit down and talk to my daughter because of the situation I am finding myself into because I introduced him in our lives," she said. Qwabe said that two weeks ago her daughter got a protection order against Mgobhozi because she wants nothing to do with him. "To be honest I?m heartbroken and I can?t even sit around my family because they know what happened between me and Mgobhozi and my child. I?m hurting inside and this thing has left me hurting to them point that I no longer enjoy being around my area because may people know and gossip about me and my daughter. It hurts and I need a psychologist to help me, and daughter get through this. "I want to teach other perverts to stop taking advantages of young girls. Mzwandile took advantage of my child at that time I was taking care of him. He was unemployed and I took care of him Even when he was studying in Mangosuthu University, I was there for him, but it cuts deep to know that the man I was dating for 14-years can be so cruel. I have accepted my daughter?s mistake to sleep with him and not tell me but now we are mending our relationship. At the same time, I want to teach a lesson," she said.
