Tshwala Bam hit makers to go their separate ways

RAF CEO Collins Letsoalo is concerned by the amount of payouts directed to the youth

The fans of the popular song Tshwala Bami will be disappointed to learn that the duo has since split up.

Tshwala Bami are coming to terms with the news that the hitmakers have decided to part. TitoM & Yuppe, the creators behind the memorable worldwide song, and the creators of Tshwala Bami dance, no longer see eye to eye with their producer.

GOING THEIR SEPARATE WAYS

Following its release on February 23, Tshwala Bam soared to the top of streaming charts in South Africa by April 22. Even US musician Jason Derulo and millions of people across the world hopped onto the South African TikTok challenge of Tshwala Bami challenge. The decision to break up comes in the wake of a collaboration between two of the members and a Nigerian singer Burna Boy, which reportedly led to tensions within the group. The rift emerged when TitoM & Yuppe, artists behind Tshwala Bami, teamed up for a collaboration with a Nigerian singer, leaving the third member, who produced the song, feeling sidelined. This exclusion of the producer ultimately led to the decision for the third member to pursue a solo career. Tshwala Bami is a song with catchy and groovy amapiano percussion, with synthetic keys and catchy vocal melodies done by the singers.

THATO WAS LEFT SLEEPING

A source said: "They went to perform their Tshwala Bami song in Nigeria. We don?t know how it happened, but the other two members ended up in Burna Boy?s studio where they did the Tshwala Bami Remix song.

"They left him sleeping in a hotel room and he woke up to find that they put a post through Instagram that there was a remix of the song. He?s not angry at them because he?s still gigging and perform the same song." Another source added: "The most painful part about this is that the guy who?s being sidelined is the one who came up with the famous dance of the song. He choreographed it. "There will never be any hit song because even with the Tshwala Bami chorus, he came up with it." This exclusion ultimately led to the decision by the third member to pursue a solo career.
