The husband who stabbed to death by her wife for drinking a glass of wine is being sought. Fisiwe Nkosi-Sibiya (37) from Mataffen in Nelspruit was allegedly stabbed to death with her kids by her husband on Monday morning.after they had an argument over a glass of wine.

STABBED TO DEATH

It is alleged that the fight between Fiisiwe and her husband began on Sunday when they were arguing over her drinking habit. Sphiwe Gwebu told ZiMoja that the family wants to see justice prevail on the murder of her aunt Fisiwe. "We were aware about the abuse my aunt was facing at the hands of her husband. We were hoping that things were going to change as she kept updating us about the fights she endured from her husband. What made things worse was when their eldest daughter revealed that her father tried to sexually abuse her, but she managed to escape," she said. Siphiwe said that on Sunday Fisiwe sent a voice recording where she was explaining on how their fight began. ZiMoja is in possession of the recorded voice message where Fisiwe was telling her side of the story.

In the recording, Fisiwe is heard saying: "When we came back from the stadium with my neighbour. My son asked me to borrow him my phone to play tik tok. My neighbour poured me a wine and funny enough it was tasting differently. From Friday my husband was not on speaking terms with me. I told him that I was going to call my brothers and he stood up and he took my glass of wine and threw it away. I called my brothers, and they came over. That is when they began arguing. After some time, he took out his gun on, that is when chasing one another and shooting at each other. The only thing that caused that commotion was the glass of wine. He was telling me not to speak about alcohol in the house and in front of the kids." Sphiwe said that the husband killed Fisiwe and stabbed his two children. "The mother issue my aunt’s husband had was the issue of their eldest daughter who recently revealed that the father wanted to sexually abuse her. This is why we think that this led to him to try and kill all of them. To eliminate possible witnesses as the young boy also told his uncle’s on what the father did to her mother," she said. The two children are recovering at Rob Ferrera hospital in Nelspruit. The eldest daughter is in Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Mpumalanga Saps spokesperson Colonel Donald Mdhluli confirmed the incident. "The police in Nelspruit are investigating a murder case of Fisiwe Nkosi. It is alleged that she was stabbed by a suspect who has fled the scene. Police are searching for the husband and police are pleading to anyone with information to contact the police about the whereabouts of Mandla Mnisi. The motive of the killing is unknown. Two of Fisiwe’s children were also stabbed but they were taken to a nearby hospital. We are investigating murder with two counts of attempted murder," he said.
