NEW START FOR FOR FORMER MODEL 

Palesa Mahlatse, the wife of the late Yizo Yizo creator and producer Tebogo Mahlatsi is selling his shares from Bomb Shelter.

An award-winning film and television production company, which was known as Bomb Productions before, the company is known for creating groundbreaking and controversial television dramas, documentaries and films like Yizo-Yizo and Shaka Ilembe. Highly paced sources close to the situation told Zimoja that his widow, former model and fashion designer who is an Estate Agent is said to have started with the process of selling her late husband’a shares.  After he succumbed to his long battle with cancer, filmmaker and director Tebog Mahlatsie wife has approached his partner to sell his shares . Selling of the the share has also aroused interest interest with potential buyers with the success of Bomb Productions which has an impressive catalogue of drama series? like Isibaya, Shaka: Ilembe, Isithembiso, Zone 14 and Jacob?s Cross, amongst others. Mahlatse co-owned the company with Desiree Markgraaff and Angus Gibson. Started in 1997, the production company has discovered talented award-winning actors in the country.  A source close to the situation said Palesa. 

SHE HAS NO INTEREST IN THE FILM BUSINESS

Another source said it is possible that other partners are eager to buy her out. "They don’t need her nor her input in the business. She is not a filmmaker and I doubt she has an interest in the film business. "Besides, if she sells the shares, she will get a lump sum which is better than dribs and drabs that are not guaranteed,? added the source. According to the source," Palesa, who is now a real estate agent, wants to leave her life peacefully and raise her beautiful kids." The source added: ?She is not okay at the moment. She still mourning her husband while trying to remain strong for her kids.? Mahlatsi died earlier year after a long battle with cancer.
