LEGEND IN THE MAKING

The best things are already happening for Mihlali after he won his first medal - a bronze when South Africa beat the Democratic Republic of Congo during the third place playoffs in Ivory Coast, on Saturday. Bafana headcoach Hugo Broos gave Mayambela his debut against Sierra Leon in a friendly match in September 2022. He netted during that game when Bafana trashed the West African opponents 4-0. Since making his debut two years ago, Mihlali has never looked back after earning his first cap for Bafana in 2022. Having played in other overseas countries like Portugal and Sweden Mihlali looks set to add to more caps after playing a couple of games during the AFCON in Ivory Coast.
