Sbahle accuses Blaq Diamond of bullying

Sbahle Cele accused Blaq Diamond of bullying

Controversial award-winning group Blaq Diamond member Ndu Brown is at it again. Real name Ndumiso Mdletshe, allegedly took down musician Sbahle Cele's music from all digital platforms. Sbahle, who comes from Umlazi, was signed under Umuthi Records which is a stable owned by Blaq Diamond. The stable was formed shortly after they dumped Ambitiouz Entertainment.

BULLYING AND TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF

Sbahle was the first artist to be signed by Umuthi Records in 2020 and she released popular songs Emlanjeni, Ipiki and Ubani Owayazi. In an open letter directed to Ndu on her Instagram, Sbahle wrote: "I have been quiet for a long time now. It is about time I become independent. I have been a victim for too long and I thought things would change. It is happening again. Right now, I'm torn apart,' she said. She continued to say: "People come to my grandparents home, asking for permission to move me to a different province and promise to take care of me, my career and support me all the way. Only for them to abandon me, not knowing what I eat, where I sleep, how I live. Now they are bullying me out of my music and taking it down. How am I supposed to live?' she asked. A source close to both musicians told ZiMoja that Blaq Diamond decided to take down Sbahle's music because she decided to walk away from her contract with Umuthi Records. "She is no longer happy working at Umuthi Records. She felt that Blaq Diamond did not care about her and her music as they put more focus on their brand. She blames Ndu because he is the one who called her when she was still in KZN and promised her heaven and earth,' the source said. The source added that Ndu did not check on Sbahle or buy her groceries as promised when they took her from KZN. "They only did that for a few months and when they are travelling, they just let her be," adds the source.

 ILL-TREATMENT

The insider further said that what is more painful is that Ndu was ill-treating her because of her association with Ambitiouz Entertainment. "When Sbahle came through in the music scene, her bookings were handled at Ambitiouz. I think she is a victim of the nasty break- up between Ambitiouz and Blaq Diamond group. They don't want anything to do with that label and her association with it disgusts them," the insider said.

SMEAR CAMPAIGN

Responding to the claims, Ndu Brown said that Sbahle has not been their artist for more than a year and that she is currently signed with Ambitiouz Entertainment. "The label she is signed to is using her to fight their own battles with us. As you all know we left the same label in 2021.I know and understand that Sibahle wouldn't do this, she knows the truth,' Ndu Brown said. He also said this was a smear campaign by Ambitiouz Entertainment to tarnish his name. He denied Sbahle's claims that he had said she is nothing. "The other story about me saying she is nothing, is nothing but lies to try and tarnish my name (they must at least provide some evidence to these accusations) other than that you will understand that this is just their old tactic of creating scandals for most of the artists that left that label. She is being used by her boss to do this, I have nothing against Sbahle personally as someone I once worked with,' he added.
