Reality show star, businesswoman, multi-millionaire, and Royal AM Football Club president Shauwn "MaMkhize 'Mkhize's home was broken into in an attempted robbery on Saturday, 7 January. The attempted robbery happened at her mansion while she was preparing for her annual All-White party at Max Lifestyle.

POLICE REPORT

Police have confirmed that three robbers were found inside the house. KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda said one of the suspects cocked a firearm, and the owner retaliated and the suspect was shot on the leg  and the other two escaped during a shoot-out. "We believe there were three robbers who entered the premises.. One of the robbers was wounded on the leg and the others managed to escape empty-handed,' Colonel Netshiunda said.

MAMKHIZE BREAKS SILENCE

MaMkhize has since broken silence on the matter. In a statement sent to ZiMoja, MaMkhize says the incident happened on her ex-husband's side of the mansion. The two live in the same mansion but haves eparate entrances. "Thank you all for the messages of concern but as you are all aware, I am separated from Sbu Mpisane,' she tells ZiMoja. "The incident that took place on Saturday, does not involve me or my wing of the estate,' she added. After being married for years, in 2018, Sbu and Mamkhize dominated headlines with reports on their divorce following multiple cases of alleged infidelity. They were regarded as a power-couple and their split took many by surprise. Mamkhize was reported to have opted for the community of property marriage rather than keeping her finances separated and independent from her husband. In her reality show, MaMkhize disclosed that despite living on the same property, the two never met as they lived in different wings of the house.Sbu lived in the wing registered to him and she lives in the wing registered under her son Andile Mpisane.
