DJ Siyanda has made damning claims about fellow Durban disc jockey, Tira. He accused DJ Tira of hiring hitmen to kill him. Real name Siyanda Tshabalala of Iwewe fame, he made these claims on a Facebook post this week.
"He (DJ Tira) tried to kill me several times and he even organised hitmen. Little did he know that I am also from the streets," he wrote in his post.
The usually media shy DJ Siyanda claimed that DJ Tira is the reason he quit the music industry.
"Most of those hitmen came to me and confessed. This is one of the reasons I decided to step back in the music industry. Angikhohliwe izinto eziningi azenzile kumina (I haven't forgotten the many things he has done to me)," wrote Siyanda. The evil plan apparently never materialised because the people who were sent confessed to him. When called for comment the Iwewe hitmaker  refused to delve further into this citing that he does not want to be involved in volatile situations
"I am no longer there , I don't want to talk about that post' he said.

ACCUSED OF DESTROYING ARTISTS

These allegations about the Sikilidi hitmaker organising a hit were revealed after well known businessman Calvin Mathibeli accused Tira of being a gatekeeper. Mathibeli did not hold back and said, " There is  one man who destroyed many artists. It's either you sign under him or you are destroyed...he is not talented but he has been manipulating many artists. He is not even creative. It started in the days of DJ Siyanda's Iwewe, The days where is made sure that Mayoni was divided hence Lvovo separated with Zakes Bantwaini, he closed door for Dj Bongz, he contributed to the division of Professor n Tzozo, I can say a lot but his last project was to steal Destructionz from West Ink and after using them to rise, he dumped them."

DIVIDE AND CONQUER

Mathibeli continues, "He is using divide and conquer strategy. Kuyimanje uyabona ukuthi iyapaquza ngoba akanayo ihit ( As we speak, he's restless because he doesn't have a hit). I remember in 2012 when Bullistic had hit song and Mamasita  was about to do interview of Metro FM.... He told the deejay that he must not proceed with the interview and indeed the interview was cancelled. I like how Dlala Thukzin has run away from him and growing independently. He tried on many occasions to capture him but Thukzin kept releasing his music independently. This guy used to boast kwamanye amaprovince (boast in other provinces) and tell them he is gateway to KZN. If you don't involve him in KZN gigs, your event will not be a success. He fought even Oskido who mentored him' he wrote.

LIVING HIS BEST LIFE

Shortly  after that DJ Siyanda did not hesitate to share his experiences with DJ Tira, citing that Tira has tried numerous times to get him out of the way.
The post has left tongues wagging with some accusing Siyanda of trying to smear Tira's name and bitter about his success. Apparently the bad blood between the two started after Siyanda became an instant hit in Durban and that did not sit well with DJ Tira.
DJ Siyanda also alleges that DJ Tira is the reason is the reason why he quit the music industry.
When asked about the allegations, a calm and collected DJ Tira said, he could not be bothered by what people post on their social media.
"I don't have time for such. I'm happy where I am. I have two hits. Sikilidi and a feature on Gibela.'said Tira
