The ex husband of late musician Mshoza, Jacob Mnisi is thanking his lucky stars after surviving a near-death experience. The Mpumalanga businessman was involved in a ghastly car accident that left his luxurious car written off and one passenger criticality injured. The passenger is still in a coma at Benoni Private Hospital.

A shaken Jacob, who suffered severe internal injuries was traveling between Springs and Delmas on the N12 road towards Witbank from Johannesburg at around 10:30pm when his car hit a cow, causing the car to lose control. Community members in the area said the cow belonged to a farmer called Chukuma. Jacob, who was recently discharged from hospital said they were looking for him."It is his responsibility to make sure that all his cattle are locked up by that time, also the freeway must have a fence at all times maintained, it's his fault," said an enraged Jacob.

CAR WRITTEN OFF

Jacob added that he is still shaken by the incident. "I am  seriously traumatised. I have never seen a cow on the N12 in my life. It is a National Road...a freeway," he said adding that he is greatful that the incident did not affect his business though his car was written off.
