She is counting down the days before giving birth to her third child. Singer and songwriter, Kelly Khumalo recently hosted her baby shower themed, A New Lineage Legacy with close friends and family at the exclusive Modern-African-Elegance venue, Suitability Gardens in Mid-Vaal, Gauteng. Extravagant décor, three-course meals, and laughter were the order of the day as guests celebrated Kelly's unborn baby.

KEEPING THE GENDER A SECRET?

Kelly has not revealed the gender of her unborn baby. A close family friend tells ZiMoja that she wants the gender to be a surprise. "She chose neutral earthy colours for the celebration because having a colour scheme would make it obvious. You can't really hide a pregnancy for long, but she felt, she wanted to keep the gender a surprise. Nono Events did the most with the colours and décor.' The close friend tells says that she is just days away from popping. "We are doing the big countdown; she is giving birth this month'

THE BABY BUMP

ZiMoja revealed that Kelly (38) was expecting her third baby with former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder and boyfriend of three years Mthokozisi Vincent Yende. A former friend of the Bazokhuluma singer confirmed that she was expecting a baby from her man and they couldn't be happier. "She has been dating her footballer for some time now. But I don't know If they are still seeing each other because we have not spoken for a while because she has been very moody,' the former friend says. "Our friendship has been on and off but I know we will be okay soon. Well, as soon as she gives birth, I know things will be okay.' Another source who does not wish to be named, in fear of ruining the working relationship with Kelly. says Kelly loves kids, she looks good and she's happy to be with a man that loves her." The friend adds that Kelly has been moody and she is giving her space. "Pregnancy can get to you and I understand."
